100 Volunteers are needed to spruce up a local neighborhood! Help with trimming hedges, cutting weeds, trash pick-up, and minor repairs.
Join Chemung County Habitat for Humanity for our Fall 2026 “Building Hope” (formerly Cities RISE) – Community Clean-Up event generously sponsored by CORNING INC, Community Impact Division. This event will take place on Friday & Saturday, August 21 & 22 in east Elmira from 9 a.m. until noon. We are calling on up to 100 volunteers for this two-day event to make improvements in our community.
Throughout the weekend, volunteers will help with trimming hedges, cutting weeds, landscaping, picking up trash, making minor repairs and painting across designated neighborhoods(s).
Volunteers will receive a t-shirt and snacks. Ages 6 and older are welcome to participate.
